This past weekend was Halloween and a few friends and I made the traditional trip down to Austin to meet brothers, friends, and to enjoy a night around.
On Friday night, the night of game 7 of the MLB World Series where the St. Louis Cardinals fought through and won after almost losing it twice coming within one out to boarding their plane home. Unfortunately I was unable to watch this game and had to keep refreshing my BlackBerry to see what was going on as I was at Trudy's, an amazing restaurant Austin. They have great Tex-Mex food and have an even better Mexican Martini, however next time I go there I will be more cautious when ordering their spicy enchiladas. Unfortunately 21 years of inhaling chili powder hasn't made me immune to spicy food everywhere. Besides that though, the night was amazing and the environment at Trudy's was second to none!
Saturday was a great night meeting brothers, finally getting to watch Andrew Luck at Stanford, and visiting a few fine establishments in downtown Austin.
