I have this idea that I will keep and update this site updated and post things of interest from time to time. Unfortunately, I have not been able to do this but I have been up to some interesting things.
Since that time, I worked on a project to track and keep a log of all of the beers I have tried with notes and pictures and other small bits of information. After a week of working on the project classes and exams caught up to me and so I put the project on hold. In addition I found a site/app called Untappd that actually does everything I wanted to begin with, except having a BlackBerry friendly sit, but I can get past that.
So far though, through my programming journey, I have started numerous projects and have gotten far enough for educational purposes.The next thing I would like to do is to actually develop a program that I can use to grab NFL scores from NFL.com or ESPN.com and be able to run a marquee on this site or on a text box or something. The end goal is that I would like to have a black marquee box that will scroll through all of the game scores that I have subscribed to in my mancave.
My mancave is a room I am planning to make/build/design in my house in the future that will contain all of the things a man should have. This includes a fridge full of various microbrew beer, a large TV for gamedays, and other interesting things that any guy would love to have where he can go out and relax after a long day of work or on weekends.
